Sautéed Sweet Bell Peppers

You won’t find an easier side dish than this and it is delicious!  Last year I was introduced to this idea at a steak restaurant and I have been making it ever since.  I order it every time I go back.  It is the perfect light side dish for grilled and/or heavy meats or when having multiple courses.

 

1lb bag of sweet mini peppers

Olive oil

1 Tbsp The Herbed Turkey

1 – 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar (optional)*

 

Heat pan over medium heat and add olive oil.

Add peppers to the pan and sauté without moving until they are well seared.  Turn over and sear the other side.  Sprinkle generously with The Herbed Turkey shaking pan occasionally until peppers wilt. 

Drizzle with balsamic vinegar.  You can substitute with any sweet vinegar or leave out altogether if you don’t have any.  I have a turmeric white balsamic that works really well in this recipe.
